Alienware Area-51 m15x graphics card?

    I recently Bought a secondhand Alienware Area-51 m15x laptop off Ebay. (Uh-oh)
    I realized that the graphics card it has is a GeForce 8600M GT not a GeForce 8800 series graphics card.
    I was just wondering did the seller downgrade the graphics card
    or can an m15x have a 8600 newly bought?
