SGS headphone problem

I have been using non samsung headphones in my phone since I got it, and this morning, my SGS won't recognise headphones and plays music through the speaker! I was using it with my speakers at home last night and it was working fine. Any settings I should be changing? Thanks

Give the socket a cleaning. I had that and sometimes it would only play through one ear but it was just because of cr@p building up in the socket.
