Join us for the first ever live roller derby bout in Cork, when Cork City Firebirds make their debut against Dublin Roller Girls!

Flat-track roller derby is a fast, fun, full-contact team sport, played on traditional quad roller skates. The sport has seen an explosion in popularity in the last five years, as an exciting womens sport that is heavy on hits, endurance, skill, and personality. Come see what the fuss is all about on Sunday July 31st, and watch Ireland's only two bouting leagues battle it out for the first time ever!

DUBLIN ROLLER GIRLS is Ireland's first derby league, established in 2009, and bouting since early 2011. So far this year, they've played Rainy City Roller Girls, Central City Rollergirls, Glasgow Roller Girls, and last week beat Liverpool Roller Birds.

CORK CITY FIREBIRDS host DRG for our first EVER bout! Can a brand new team with no previous bout experience POSSIBLY slay the might of Dublin? Come show your support, and we'll show you all we've got! The louder you scream, the harder we skate!

Doors open at 3pm - Game starts at 4pm.
Tickets will be 5 euro in advance or 6 euro on the door.
Tickets ON SALE NOW from Plugd Records, at the Triskel.

    AFTER PARTY!
We're delighted to support the A.skate Foundation by having our bout after-party at the first annual Phoenix Street Festival in Cork city centre. The festival, based around the Crane Lane Theatre, will feature live bands, a temporary skatepark, pro-skaters, street vendors, and more. TICKETS WILL DISTRIBUTED FREE TO ALL BOUT ATTENDEES!
The A.skate Foundation works with children with autism, helping them grow and develop through skateboarding.
