    Fallon & Byrne.

Meat and fish counter in there are quite reasonable compared to the prices in the rest of the shop.

Frozen any good to you? Most of the Chinese supermarkets have an insane selection of different frozen fish & seafish. The Asian Market on Drury Street has a large selection of fresh fish (but you'd want to be able to recognise them by sight as the labels are normally in [what i think is] Chinese), a few of the Chinese supermarkets along Parnell Street & Capel street also have fresh fish counters

There's also Taste of the Sea in Glasnevin

    bit of a tip:

if you see anywhere selling pangasius buy it. it absolutely beautiful, very similar to cod and is priced very reasonable
i used it in the pub as 'battered cod' but its nearly impossible to tell the difference and its a lot better than coley

depending on what time your in town at, the fish sellers down on moore street can be pretty decent.......

remember gettin a chunk of smoked cod for half nothing towards the end of the afternoon one time, and it was quality stuff.
