Hey folks,I am looking at getting a mac book air 11", for travel and the likes. I currently have a mac book pro for at home. I have a niece in the States for the summer and was thinking of getting her to get me one. Just wondering apart from no £ and euro symbol and a few other symbol differences is there any other main difference with buying in US versus buying here. Also could get a refurbished one of the US website sent to her but think I may need to use US credit card. Anyone able to confirm this please.

By the time you get hit with taxes and import duties it works out precisely the same cost. Done the math. Not worth the logistics.
