World rankings after Austrailian Open

    Stuart Bingham has climbed to 12th in the world rankings following his Australian Goldfields Open win.

    The Basildon cueman won the first ranking title of his career by beating Mark Williams 9-8 in the final in Bendigo. He's up three places from 15th.

    Williams has stretched his lead over John Higgins to nearly 5,000 points at the top of the list. Semi-finalist Shaun Murphy is up two places to fifth, while Stephen Hendry is back into the top 16 thanks to his first round win.

    Ken Doherty has climbed three places to 25th following his run to the semis, while Matthew Selt jumps five spots to 38th having reached his first ranking quarter-final. David Gilbert has leapt seven places to 64th after getting to the last 16.
