    I was down in my local post office the other morning. The place was packed. It was dole day. There was not an Irish accent to be heard. The overwhelming majority were Eastern European.

    I work in security on the town's main street, so I know (recognise) every face that moves. It's a smallish town and it's my job to recognise folk.

    What concerned me most was I had never seen these guys/gals ever before!

    I can only conclude that 2 things are happening. Either these guys are continuing to flood the country as word is out that we are stupidly generous, or there's a flourishing market in PPS numbers.

    ID cards are long overdue, so that people who need the dole get it. My gym uses a fingerprint scanner, so why can't the Dept for Dole!

    a proper ID card system would help combat dole fraud, regardless what their nationalities are.
