is screenflow worth the €80 or are there better alternatives?

looking at screenflow on the mac store , i need to record the audio playing on my mac, and screenflow will do it, all be it a bit of an overkill ( dont need the video part). are there any other alternative programs for recording audio that is playing on my mac? cheers

Soundflower is a system extension which allows you to reroute the audio so you can pipe it from one application to another - and it's free.
