as above the deadlocks on my 08 focus hatch are not working.
i have tried the remote and the key to no avail. Ive checked all the fuses etc. The standard central locking is working. Is there anything more i can check before i return the car to dealer as it is still under warrenty.
(dont have the time midweek to return car) Anyone else have this problem?
    thanks in advance.
    J.

Make sure all doors can close properly and don't forget the boot.

Hold lock and unlock together for 4 seconds. You will see the indicators blink. That may sort it. Are you sure your model has it though, not all Focus's have it.

One click to lock, a second click to deadlock?

That's correct, but Ford central locking is notoriously dodgy!
