NZ - Recruitment Agencies

    Howdy Folks,

    Am thinking about just going to a recruitment agency in NZ when i need to look for a job.

    Does anybody have any feedback on using agencies in NZ? What are they like? Effective? Worthwhile?

    I used several but this was back in 2003 think the one I did the best with was Manpower, were very good have no clue about now though :( sorry

    To be honest I didn't have much luck with agencies over here when I registered with several of them last year. Saying that though, a friend recently came over and she has been kept busy with jobs from two different agencies. Alot of companies seem to go through agencies so depending on what sort of job your after you may not have a choice other than using agencies.

    Would recommend all of the above, was there last year and have to say the only way me and my friends got jobs was through a recruitment agency!
