    lads anybody know if they still take 2nd hand bikes i'm looking to trade mine in tomorrow

    Don't know but you're probably better off selling it yourself on adverts or donedeal or the like.
    Bike shops will generally only take second hand bikes in if they're in good nick and if they're reasonably confident they can make a profit selling it on again. This means they'll be giving you less than the market value in either cash or store credit.
