Good Dealers - Where to go

Just thinking, lots of negative stuff about dealers who mess up, or show no interest. How about good dealers - positive service and the 'I'd go back to them' feeling?

My suggestion - McCabes Toyota, Ardee

Why? Bought my 2003 Landcruiser there in '08 - Salesman was very helpful, was on his own (Sunday afternoon) but still kept 3 customers on the go. They gave me a good trade in price and threw in a full tank of diesel when I collected it. Rang me a week later to see if everything was going ok with it.

Jeep failed the DOE 3 months later on track rod end - rang them, they were mortified - guy drove down to meet me in Dublin (I live in Carlow) and swapped giving me another jeep for a couple of days till it was sorted. It was washed and valeted when i got it back

Then - the big plus - last october the clutch went on a Sunday (140,000 miles and was towing a 16ft trailer around the country, it happens!). Rang McCabes, told them how stuck I was - needed the jeep the following friday - the took it in that Monday, pulled 2 guys from the service desk to help take out the gearbox, and handed me back the keys on the Wednesday.

This is why I would gladly drive the 80 miles back to them again for service or another car.

    Any other suggestions?
