Hi heading to Gorey this comming Weekend, i am just wondering where the nearest and best beach is to Gorey, also would it have good surf (not essential though), any tips from natives about walks, activities would be appreciated, may have my 5 and 6 year old niece and nephew along too also. Thanks for any input

Courtown would be the most obvious one. There's a nice woodland walk near the beach too. Activity wise there's the Pirates' Cove complex in Courtown (crazy golf, and a fun centre for smaller kids). If you travel a little bit further (not much though) there's other beaches at Clone and Clogga (nearer Arklow).
