    would anyone know if this sign is legitimate or has it been tampered with?
    i took the photo on the DART yesterday and it had not been written on from what i could see

    Looks like a genuine mistake. Should have been spotted before being put up.

    The idea is grand but im baffled to why it wasnt checked before it was put in place. For the Irish translation to work would the train crew have to understand Irish?

    It's so bad you'd normally assume it had been photoshopped (seems fairly genuine in this photo though).

    Its most likely a one off. Had a look at some today and they are ok, including a number 4 ;)

    I've noticed the double English instead of Irish on a few different emergency instruction signs, not on every carriage but it must have been one print run of them.
