Solution to shared Google calenders not showing on iPhone calender app.

    I set up the wife's and my calenders to be visible to each other yesterday. Worked fine online, viewing via google.com/calender; but I could not get the shared calender to show up in the iPhone calender app.

    I have spent freakin ages trying to get this sorted, including a call to applecare who were no use at all.
    Finally found the answer here, step 2 to be precise.

    Can't see anything recent about the problem here, so just posting it to save someone else hours searching; there are so many 'solutions' out there that don't work.
