how do you check earlier prices like that?

    Go to oddschecker.com.

Get up the race you want, you'll be shown current prices.

Click on your horses name and it'l show you what prices he was at certain times

Must have been the tote was it as 6/1 seems a bit far fetched for a show at a greyhound track here!.

    Standard Irish Greyhound racing book:

    4/6, 1/1, 2/1, 2/1, 2/1, 3/1

I take it the above info does not include Shelbourne, last sat night 20/1, 10/1 8/1 6/1 etc etc.I will not reply anymore to obvious rubbish.I have an unraced dog qualified in 30.43 and recently did unrecorded at a slow Dundalk 28.91,he will make it 9/10 winners when money down.

I often find it amazing how Weld always has some very well handicapped horses for Galway.

And the 3/1 shot finishing no nearer than 18L to the winner on his last 3 races hence the generous price:D

Can we please keep this thread somewhat on topic (i.e. discussing horse racing). Any discussion on greyhound racing can be posted here. Thanks.

    It wasn't much of a gamble. A weak class6 race,11/2 in to 7/2

It was. It was backed in in the morning, but because there were a few other fancied runners in the race, the bookies opened it big on track.

It was backed from 7's into 7/2 in literally 2 mins, right before the off.

He was punted in the morning time alright down to 7/2 my dad said, then opened up again at 13/2 and drifted to 8/1 for a few seconds and then lashed out of it before the off to 7/2!

Yea big enough gamble in the final few minutes, won 240 on it myself, got in at 11/2 and 7/2 after seeing what was going on, however, that money was kindly returned to will hill through my stupidity :)
