    Just heard the Clodagh bar in Portlaw went on fire last nite

    Fire in unoccupied Portlaw pub

    Motorists and pedestrians are asked to avoid Browne Street in Portlaw in County Waterford as emergency services deal with a fire in an unoccupied pub.Gardai in Tramore were notified about the fire at 5.20am this morning and four units of the fire service went to the scene to distinguish the blaze in the Clodagh Bar. The pub has been closed since Christmas and has been unoccupied since then.Gardai say the fire caused substantial damage to the premises. No one was injured.The road has been closed off. Gardai have preserved the scene for investigation.

    There is a difference between sale agreed, and a sale completed. Someone might have agreed to buy it at an agreed price, depending on the ability to get a mortgage for it (or some other condition).

    I'd imagine they'd want to wriggle out of it now.
