Well, I said fcuk it and just bought it, it came yesterday. Seems to be of good quality, havent installed it yet, getting a drill after work, but I placed it on the centre console and it fit like a glove.

I will update later when I've installed and used it!

    Installed it last night.

The bracket fit the centre console perfectly, there wasn't a milimetre of extra space. I drilled holes first, using the bracket to line them up, then drilled in the screws. They also came with black cap covers which hide the screws.

It is the perfect height. It also feels very sturdy and I doubt it will break easily. The leather feels comfy and there is plenty space inside to leave clutter.

If you're looking for a cheap aftermarket armrest I would highly recommend it, I've seen a few posts with people asking the same question.

I'm thinking of fitting one to my car too. Just wondering how long it took? Did You have to remove the centre console to fit it?

    Thanks;)

Took 10 minutes. No need to take the centre console out, just move the seats up / down so u can get a good angle with the drill. Literally drill four holes, screw them in (make sure you have the cap in the screw before screwing it in) and your done.

Also, it's a good idea to have your handbrake lifted fully up so you know it doesn't affect it using it!

I was the same man, kept putting it off when I was driving the astra, got a new car on Tuesday, had the armrest ordered and put it in. Very happy with it. The scrapywards were looking for E150 for an OEM amrest, imo the micksgarage once does the job perfectly!

You would get a genuine one for that money if you looked hard enough, a friend of mine bought something similar to that and it lasted abotu 4 weeks before it just fell apart.

Yeah but it was probably a really scaldy one for a score? These ones look and feel like very good quality. I can't see it falling appart anytime soon!

Really? Fair enough.... Well if I have any trouble with mine I'll post in here so others will know if they're crap! :)

Well it's been 3 months. No problems. Once you install it correctly (make sure the screws are tight).

Would recommend this as a cheap option to OEM armrests.
