Western Digital Returns Policy?

I got a WD passport hard drive from PC world about 2-3 months ago. Well it's seems to be f-ed already.

Hadn't really used it much. It was meant to be a back for my other external but hadn't really gotten round to it fully. Reformatted it on Windows to rid get of a few useless files I shoved on temporarily before I backed up anything. Now on Ubuntu it's reading as "disk failure imminent" so it's likely to completely fail soon.

Anyone know what returns are like for PC World/WD? I'm passed the usual 21 day period so I think I'll have to bypass PC World and go straight to Western Digital for a replacement/refund. Anyone have any experience with them? The website says 2 year return for my product, have the box and receipt so I should be OK... hopefully
