    hi folks, have been considering buying one of these for a while now. one has come up that has caught my eye.

    just wondering has anybody had any experience of these and could give me any advice on what to look out for

    Gearboxes are weak.

    Due to age and price bracket they can be in all sorts of conditions.
    Buy carefully.

    Engines are a variant of the sr20det but not as tough as the silvia version and there are substantial differences internally. (not just the transverse mounting)


    Get onto the owners club and shop around. Like any car do not buy the first one that comes along. See what your money can pick-up and watch the owners club forum like a hawk for a month or two before buying.
