Painting over newly plastered wall

    Im looking to paint my kitchen but...havent a clue!
    I got a wall knocked and have had ceiling and wall joins plastered.Is it straightforward enough just to paint over plaster?? Its well dried out now and getting on my nerves....
    I'd appreciate advice before I make a bags of it!

    Two coats of emulsion,do your filling after the first coat.

    When you sand the filler touch up the sanded patch with some paint and leave dry,then give your walls there final coat.

    Do not use pva to seal fresh plaster.

    Hi Michael, thanks for good advice. When painting new plaster the 1st coat is equally as important as the top coat if not more.
