Flashing green charger

    Hi,

I went to charge my MacBook today, 2007, and got no charge. The green light is flashing away.

I've held the Button down till it beeped and it started back up for about 5 mins. During this time there was an X in the battery symbol saying theres no battery/charging. Then came the grey screen of death and now nothing.

There's no power left in the battery now. If it hadn't come back on I would have been sure it was the charger but those 5 minutes had made me unsure.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'll buy battery or charger if needed I just don't know which one if any will fix it.

I don't have access to another MacBook to check.

    Thanks

I've literally just replaced my power cable for my iBook. It wasn't charging the comp at all. I had got a new battery at Christmas so I knew for a fact it was my charger that was acting up. Brought it to a local repair guy who tested the power levels in the charger, it was completely dead.
Would recommend having a look on ebay or Amazon (that's where I got my battery!)
