Mole Removal

I went to my GP in March to get a mole a little bigger than a 10 cent coin removed from my face. I went private and yet I still didn't get a consultation with a plastic surgeon in Beaumont until last Thursday. I was told there that the earliest appointment time is not until January 2012. I just feel that's way too long to wait and I was hoping to get it done before I go back to college in late September. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any other private clinics that might have a quicker waiting period? Also if anyone has had a procedure like that on their face how bad the scarring was?
