Hi, My sister is supposed to fly to Canada this week but due to illness has to cancel. Does anyone have any idea what the situation is relating to fefunds when cancelling flights due to this. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

It depends: If the ticket is flexible it may be refundable/refundable minus a fee. Check with the airline to find out.

If not, and she has travel insurance, she may be able to claim on it for the cost.
