Haven't used the app store much since it game out (downloaded a twitter app and solitaire) was really looking forward to it but cat seem to see any apps that stand out.

As there is an app thread in the apple media device forum (can't seem to see one here) can anyone suggest any good apps for the mac book pro?

I downloaded Virtual DJ 7 Home. It's free which is what made it attractive :)

Reeder and Squirrel are the only apps I've installed. Both excellent apps for what they do.

Reader is the best RSS reader app I've come across for Mac OSX. A little borked gesture wise because of Lion although he's said he's working on the problem.

Yeah, Reeder for Mac is excellent. It's the first really good RSS reader for the Mac. I know NetNewsWire has its fans but I'm not one of them. And everything else generally buckled under too much strain. Up until now I've been using Google Reader's web interface, which used to be really good but has become bloated with useless Google features in recent years.

I've been using the iPhone/iPad version Reeder for ages now and it's also excellent.

I presume you're not pimping your own app here? Just highlighting one you found fun? :)

she/he pimped the iOS version over in apple media devices too.

    mine recommendations:

    sparrow
    xcode
    twitter

nothing much else has tickled my fancy yet.

The most useful App I've downloaded would be Translator Free. I have a few foreign friends who seem to think I'm much better at their languages than I actually am! It's also handy for reading their Facebook updates...
