    Hi,

Would anybody have recommendation for somebody who feels he needs to get away and make huge advances in sorting himself out, starting with his attitude towards food and drink?

I suppose that's the short version of my ceist. I don't know if such a place exists in Ireland, but I feel I need it. Thank you.

Orgainisations such as overeaters anyonmous and food addicts anoymous, have helped alot of people who either starve themself or overeat and their costs are quite low usually around 2 euro a meeting, they hold day courses and weekend courses that a cheap also. As far as I can see this is one of the cheapest way to sort out eating problems and they are always looking out for new members.

Rutland Centre in Dublin & Tabor Lodge in Cork have residential programmes for people with food & drink disorders. Is this what you have in mind? Is it an uncontrolled problem he has? Or is he looking for counselling?

Overeater's & Alcoholics Anonymous are both options either and can offer support and information to find out more. To see if he has this kind of a problem. Even looking at the websites of both organisations or go for an interview to one of the treatment centres will help a lot with information and the kind of help he needs.

    Hope this helps.
