Where in cork can I get my engine steam cleaned?

I'm well aware of the disadvantages of steam cleaning, but I'm gonna get it done regardless... If I can find somewhere to get it done.

I think washworld or whatever it's called on Tramore Road do it, can't miss them, on the right after Harrington Industrial Estate heasding towards Musgraves.

I would be careful in steam cleaning a engine, especially if the car is a newer one. Too many god dam electrics to watch out for.

I would be more wary of steaming an old car TBH!

its actually an old car.. been parked up for a few years.

gonna get it back on road over the next year, just want the engine bay to be super clean to work on and make it easier to spot leaks etc

there's feck all electrics in it.. so .. heres hoping not much goes wrong

Just spray it with Autoglm machine cleaner, agitate with an old paint brush and hose it off, much better than the steam clean tbh :)

Read a thread on some other forum where the guy removed the oil cap and put the lance in to clean some gunk he could see inside...:)

i have already tried that, but the whole bay is manky, and the paint brush will take too long
