Raw or Smackdown live show?

I'm planning on heading over to Liverpool for either the November TV tapings of Raw or Smackdown with my father but don't know which one to choose.

It's my dad's 69th birthday next week and I said to him a while back would he be interested in going to a live show. He hasn't watched the WWE since the Hogan era but I know he'll enjoy it. Thing is Raw is very promo heavy which I know he'll hate but it is the flagship show with the bigger storylines and bigger names yet Smackdown consists of more actual wrestling but is still considered the B show.

If anyone here had to pick what would you go for?

Why would you take him to something that you know he'd hate? :pac: I think you answered your own question there!

I'd go for SmackDown since it has Shambo on it :)

Don't they record Superstars before Raw? so you'd probably end up seeing a good amount of wrestling at whichever show you choose.

Matches for Superstars are recorded before both shows, NXT is also recorded before Smackdown.

I'd probably go to SmackDown if I had the choice.

Smackdown, you don't wanna be surrounded by thousands of 8 year old Cena fans

I'd go to both if I had the money and the time off.

RAW for production values and a big show.
Smackdown for wrestling and your moneys worth. Might have to sit through NXT though.

@glenjamin I was thinking about going to the RAW taping but tickets went on sale a while back, where were you planning on getting a ticket from?? I think they have a few on ticketmaster, not great seats but wondering if you had any better ideas??

My vote would be on smackdown.
Nothing huge ever really happens on Raw when its in england. Last time there was a 15 minute (hilariously funny, though) skit with Kozlov, Santino and Sheamus.
