Foreign nationals make up 20% of our prison population!

Whilst enjoying an afternoon beer I happened upon an article in the Daily Mirror (I think), saying non-nationals comprise some one fifth of our already over burgeoning prison population.

The phrase "I told ya!" did spring to mind.:(

I thought that was a British newspaper, and hence referring to the prison population of Britain?

They seem to be getting a decent enough representation in the prisons.

I don't see too many of them in the Dail though. Unless Michael Healy Rae counts as foreign.
