    It dont charge up fully anymore stops at 72% anyone know a reason for this?

    The laptop is around 9 months old

    3 years is the norm for most batterys, after that they won't hold a charge at all, 28% gone in 9 months seems about right I'd say.

    what kind of battery is it? have you followed any instructions, if they apply, re completely discharging.

    If the laptop is on ly 9 months old and the battery has not been abused or treated wrong you may have a case to have it replaced
