National Senior Record for Kate Veale

The highlight of day 3 of the national juvenile championships was a national senior record for Kate Veale in the 3k walk beating Gillian O'Sullivan's record by 13 seconds. WOW!!!! That is a jaw-dropping performance. A girl with an abundance of talent, truly awesome. The world record (unofficially) for this event is held by Italian Ileana Salvador walking 11:48.24mins for 3,000m in 1993.
