New Pearse Station entrance

    Any idea when this is scheduled to open? Is it dependent on Dart Underground?

    Should be in the next few weeks/months. The entrance is part of the new Trinity BioSciences building on Pearse St that opened recently, there is work going on right now on getting the entrance open.

    I was talking to one of the lads who works in the station and he said the renovation will take about 6 months, but that the new entrance at the end of the southbound platform should be open sooner. He said that the new ticket machines/platform surface, and general tidy up were going ahead, but he wasnt sure if they were going to do the roof - both of us really hoped that they do get around to doing it, since the cast iron and glass roof in pearse station is one of its biggest features =(

    Anyway, they have all of the hoarding up, and theres scaffolding everywhere, so it looks like they are doing something, but how much gets done remains to be seen.
