So I've been having this problem for a while now on my laptop.

Basically I'm using google chrome. Sometimes when I click on the scroller on the side the curser will get stuck on it and I won't be able to click on anything else. I can still move the scroll bar up and down but to declick the only thing I can do is take the battery out of my laptop. Nothing else works.

    Any ideas?

    Does the keyboard still respond?
Can you Alt-Tab out of Chrome?
Can you use Alt-F4 to close Chrome?
    Does Esc do anything?

Have you tried to reinstall Chrome?

    Keyboard works.
I tried alt tab last time it happened like a week ago. Can't remember why exactly but it didn't work. Ill try again next time it happens.
Esc does work but my cursor won't appear outside of chrome when it happens.

No I don't think so as its a function button on my keyboard so I'd have to press 2 buttons for it to activate.

If it happens can you open task manager and quit and restart the explorer process. Does this fix things?

Try windows key & D to minimize everything if alt & tab isn't working and see if the mouse will work then
