Computer Technician Qualifications?

    Hi all,

I recently graduated university in Computer Forensics. However I don't really want to follow it as a career and I much prefer working hands on with computers and trouble shooting etc.

My question is this: I live in Northern Ireland, what good and recognised qualifications can I do to ensure my technical skills can be enhanced and ready for an IT technician job?

Ok, can I do these from home or am I required to do them in a college or tech?
