Hi I hope this is in the right section but its a technical question, I got my son an Acer desktop and he has a flight sim game, I tried to load it on the new PC but after putting in disc no 4 and loading to 82% it stops saying it has an error. Now the game says system requirements is windows XP but I thought that a new PC would be able to load it. Will he have to get a new game for Windows 7 or is there anyway around it.

Exactly what error does it give you when loading...
Are you sure there is enough hard disk space free..
Are you sure that your graphics adapter meets the minimum requirement..

Normally the game will not even BEGIN installing unless it has deduced from detecting your hardware that your system is capable of running the game..

Right click on the setup file. Go to properties.
    Click on Compatibility mode.
Place a check mark in the box in front of “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and from the drop down menu choose Windows XP SP2.
Place a check mark on "Run as an Administrator" under privileges level and click on Apply and then Ok.
Now double click on the setup file to initiate the install.

    Sorted...;)

OK. You probably have autoplay as default.
    Go to control panel.
    Click on autoplay icon.
uncheck run autoplay for all devices at the top.
Scroll down to games and check the box next to open folder to view files etc.
    Click ok.

Now insert disc 1 and you should see a lot of files and folders.
There you should see the setup file.
    Good luck

Btw, you might need to restart your pc before you insert disc one.
