    Hi

I applied nearly 2 weeks ago and payment taken online, I've ears nothing as of yet is this normal?
Should they give you a date straight away or is there a backlog?
I'm hoping to take before the end of august, want to get the date as I need to prepare. Have been driving on the provisional just over a year

    Cheers

I waited over 6 weeks to get contacted but that was for a cancellation in July !
I deciled it, asked could I have a date the middle of August , got the date there 3 days ago :)

To be honest you are better off ringing them !

Madma: You should have recieved comfirmation of your application. If you applied for a cancelation the will usually call you a week or two in advance. If you applied normally you will get your date several weks before your test. Either way I would not be expecting a dat just yet. If you phone them they will probably offer you a cancelled date. This could be a week or two later. Dont take this if you need more time to get ready.
Mjcom: Their normal procedure is to give ten days notice. If this happened to you and you got no other post or email, you have legitmate cause for complaint and a new date for free. If this happened to a friend, tell them this. If you just heard it, it is probably inaccurate.
