Inconsiderate flatmate

Right now my flatmate is shouting into her phone in her room.
Pretty sure it's not a stand-up row she's having with someone- this seems to be a regular thing. Woke me up yesterday.
Yapping away in Italian at the top of her lungs.
Why the fcuk does someone shout down a phone in normal conversation.
Is this some new craze i've missed- i'm wondering if she's partly deaf.

I'll eventually have to tell her to please STFU if this keeps up but any other (nicer) ways to make her shut up.

I know this is minor and normally i would pass it off- but it's just the strangeness of someone inconsiderately blaring down a phone that has me baffled.
Anyway, feel free to post your stories of inconsiderate flatmates. :)

    /leaves thread, definately a piss-take.

What's the reason for being reasonable?

    Is that an unreasonable question?

Italians always sound like they are in a row screaming at each other.

Why did the hedgehog cross the road ?

    To see his flatmate :pac:

I feel like Italian, Greek and Russian are three languages where you can't really tell if people are mad at each other or not when they are talking (loudly) to each other.
