haha. what did you do up to this? Have a B.comm and worked a little here and there but nothing i'd consider to be relevant experience whatsoever!

Is there any area you are particularly looking forward to?

I got a Master 1 degree in france (4th year) in international economy and management and before I graduate a licence (3 first years) in applied math and IT for economy.

As for my experience, I did an internship where I was a web designer and community manager for a "rock and wine" society here in france (they make concert associated with particular type of wines, unfortunatly we don't have guiness here ;), had to develop a concept of a website and write press releases... very interesting, but too short to my opinion !

Maybe the most interesting area to me would be the web design one, but it's only if I had to make a choice because I can't wait to discover all of the modules. I am also curious about the next generation management course, I see it as a mystery... really have no idea how the course will be taught or what will we do ! But for now, what i'm really looking forward may be the discovery of Ireland and Dublin particularly...

September seems so far from now, but also, to close for me to do all i need to before i leave ! But can't wait to come, already got my plane ticket for the 14 !!

What about you ? Why did you choose this course ?
    Where did you graduate ?

    Where did you graduate ?

I graduated from NUI Galway with a Commerce degree specialising in MIS (web design, my sql, visual basic etc)

After a few years of soul searching and casual work unrelated to my degree(which has now all dried up), I want to refresh myself in this area and further my knowledge in the hope of secure long term employment.

I am interested in the area but my degree was far too basic to allow me to attain meaningful employment in the area.

I am also looking forward to moving up to Dublin from the west of Ireland.

You'll love Ireland apart from the rain (which isn't too bad in Dublin compared to where I live now)

If you've ever written any HTML whatsoever you already know enough to teach the coding side of this module yourself. It is extremely basic.

The UX side of things has one or two interesting topics but again is very basic and dated.

I've done web design before in my undergrad it's not too bad just put in the time and reap the rewards. i was told by someone in the course that the only people who do poorly are those that don't go in to class
