Gambling Age

I was just wondering, what is the gambling age here in Dublin for playing poker? I'm 18 and I played a cash game in a casino the other day and on the casino info/rules for the poker it said "minimum age 21" but they let me play anyway. Outside of the casino it said "Strictly over 18" but where the poker room was it was "21"

dont worry about been 21, 18 is the legal age to gamble and/or play poker.
