Has anyone ever experienced this? For the most part of the year ive had a great deal of success in competitions and getting pbs but there was a period when i just totally started to struggle even the slow easy runs became difficult.I think my coach has pushed me too much this year and well im 29 and only been running 2 and a half years and in that time ive gone from a 37min 10k time to 33mins but now im finding the pace that i used to find comfortable hard.Anyone ever gone through a phase like this?

There was a thread started before on overtraining which sounds a bit like what you're experiencing:

When's the last time you had 7-10 days completely off training?

You need to take a break from time to time. My plan typically involves a full week off after cross country and then a week off after track.
