Looking at the landmark as a possible venue, other options are crover house, or somewhere in athlone? His side have a bit to travel so would you take the town into consideration as well as the actual hotel?

I attended a wedding at the landmark about 3/4 years ago. I thought it was lovely, nice food and the rooms in the hotel were fairly reasonably priced if I remember correctly. If there will be a lot of people travelling then Carrick might be a good choice, a few B&B's and guesthouses around so a more affordable option for those who want it too!

was at a wedding in the landmark last year. had a fab day. food and service was very good. lovely bars in it if you want to get away from the wedding crowd for a break. rooms were nice and theres plenty of other accommodation options nearby if guests dont stay at the hotel.
