Hi, Can someone answer these few questions: How long does it take a standard 8 berth cruiser to sail from - Carrick-on-Shannon to Rooskey - Rooskey to Athlone - Athlone (back upstream) to Carrick Also, are all the locks on the shannon electronically managed, i.e. you have to wait until they open and cannot manually open…

Hi,

Can someone answer these few questions:

How long does it take a standard 8 berth cruiser to sail from
- Carrick-on-Shannon to Rooskey
- Rooskey to Athlone
- Athlone (back upstream) to Carrick

Also, are all the locks on the shannon electronically managed,
i.e. you have to wait until they open and cannot manually open ourselves??!
