I have a small but irritating problem. I'm going to have to input "MPa" into a very large spreadsheet about a zillion times in the next couple of weeks. When I type "MPa", Excel automatically changes it to "Mpa". Is there any way to turn off the auto-correct? I know I could do a find and replace at the end but it annoys me to look at.

    Thanks

Yep, there's a way to customise the auto-correction.

    1. Go to the Excel main drop down menu on the left hand side (for creating new files, opening existing files etc.. )
    2. There's a button which says "Excel Options", click on it
    3. In the "Excel Options" dialog box, select "Proofing" in the list on the left hand side
    4. There's a button for "AutoCorrect Options" in there
    5. There's a checkbox in the autocorrect options to say "Correct TWo INitial CApitals" - disable this to fix your problem.
