I had to add in two new worksheets to an excel book and now the page numbering in the footer is all off.

The new worksheets are starting at page 2 instead of continuing on from the previous sheet number..

Any ideas how I fix these?

    Thanks

If there is a way to fix this, I'd like to know too.

Have you hardcoded a page number or used the page number option?

As far as i can see, page numbers are unique to each sheet.

If you are creating a PDF of the output from all sheets, you will need to hard code the page numbers on each sheet (at least thats what I do)

As for the page number starting at page 2 - are you sure you dont have a page break hidden in there somewhere?

    Gah!!

    I selected all sheets...

    Viewed Header + Footer
    Page Tab

    Put Auto in the box

BUTTTT it made all my headers the same :( had to go in manually and change them all back.

you can do above but don't write auto, simpley enter the number the page is and you'll be fine.

I learned the hard way :o
