Tried this last week with goggles4u and it would not work but they seem to have since fixed the problem. How it works is if you like them on facebook you get a code for a free pair of glasses (frame and lenses) go to goggles4u and pick a frame in the 4.99 range, then select CR39 lenses. At the checkout select credit card so you can enter the code(you can change back to paypal by the drop down)

All that has to be paid it 4.99 shipping which comes to about 5.90 euro.

Handy for a spare pair of glasses.

I just ordered 4 pairs of glasses for £30. You just select £4.99 frames and the basic £20 lenses - you just pay £5 each for shipping I've gotten glasses from this lot a good few times, can't fault them although it does take about 2 or 3 weeks for delivery.

I tried this just now, and it didn't recognise the code.

However, there is a coupon special on their homepage - type in "UKSpecial" during the checkout process (when prompted to enter a coupon code), and the specs will be discounted to £2.99 plus postage (£4.99).

Quick question about filling in the prescription part if anyone could help.
My prescription just basically says "left eye -1.5, Right eye -1.5"

So how would I fill that in in the sphere, cyclinder, axis, add drop down menu?

You don't have your full prescription. If you had it would be obvious. Go back to optician.

I only ordered last week and they arrived yesterday. They must batch up orders from wherever they make them and send to the UK to despatch to customers from there.

I got 2 pairs last week, took about 2 weeks to arrive.

Unfortunately though both pairs were way too strong. The prescription was definitely right because I used the same one on eyebuydirect last year and they were perfect.

I wonder what the returns process is like...

Finally got the delivery of them today

I must say for €6 (including shipping) they really are good bargain. No problem with the lenses, they are spot on and the frame quality is decent.

Overall happy with them and on that basis suggested this to couple of more friends.
