I just woke up thinking I was stuck in a lift with a salesman from Aldi, A neighbours dog, someone I can't remember, and Eddie Hobbs in a power station in County Monaghan.

And I'm stone cold sober.

    Christ.

I created this thread in light hearted frame of mind.

Just reading back on it now, I can see how it might drag up some bad memories for other readers.

    That is not my intention.

After Hours isn't the place for that.

    Please lock it up Mods.

    Apologies.

That wasn't a dream. The person you couldn't remember was me. I killed the salesman from Aldi (Frank), the neighbour's dog (Rover), and Eddie Hobbs (bollix), then I blew up the power station and now I'm coming for you. Just as soon as you go back to sleep. Night night, sleep tight, don't let the bugs bite. :D

Recurring mare of being stuck in an big old house with stairs leading all over the place and none leading anywhere.Just continuous stairs, the odd landing.
I'll wake up when I've worked myself into a frenzy panicked at not being able to get anywhere.

Its always a lynch mob after me because I killed someone. The relief when I wake up is immense.

I recently read The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - and yes, that syndrome would be the absolute worst nightmare ever :(

I once dreamed that I bought a big apartment in Dublin during the boom and that I was in negative equity for the rest of my life. When I woke up I realised that I never really had money anyway:(

Being stuck in a lift with Ivana Bacik, Gerry Adams, Fintan O'Toole, Richard Boyd Barrett, Nell McCafferty and Lars Ulrich. With the music of Celine Dion playing on a loop.

    :(
