All games work fine in 3D so far apart from resident evil 5.

I get an error accross the screen constantly:
Attempting to run stereoscopic 3d in non-stereo mode...<few more lines of writing here, about the error>

The game is actually running in 3d with this annoying message in front of it, anybody know how to get rid of this?

Would seem to be a problem with running dual monitors, having the game or monitor not set to 100hz+ or a driver issue.

I really enjoy it tbh, some people dont really care for it so id say test it if you could get a friend who has it to show you. Some games like alice in wonderland, resi evil 5 etc look deadly

I don't think it's a gimmick, for the simple reason that it's really up to you whether or not you want to play in 3D, it's not as if by buying a 3D monitor you're tied to 3D. I only have mine a few months, and I play 70% of games in normal mode, but that 30% for select games, like Bioshock, Resident Evil 5, some racing titles, Fallout 3 and others, is absolutely stunning, adds a whole new plane of immersion to the titles that support it properly. I was blown away by Bioshock 2 in 3D.

    Also, it's fantastic for 3D movies. :)
