Hi, i am looking for advice or opinions on weather i am entitled to the dole. I am 23 and currently out of work. I worked for 6 years part time whilst in college. (3 days a week and full time during summers) and left that job in June of this year to take up full time employment as a nanny (a job more suited to my college degree). Unfortunatly two weeks into this new job i was let go as the circumstances of the lady who i was working for changed and she could no longer keep me on. I have been looking for a job for the past four weeks to no avail and barely have two cents left to my name. I dont see any other option but to apply for social welfare but would i be entitled to it? And if there is anyone in a similar situation how long before i might recieve a payment? Thank You
