If I was to go to court and I said Your Honor I am a Living Being. The Flesh lives and the blood flows.
 I ask humbly for Remedy!

    What happens?

Nothing. Irish judges are never addressed as "your honour"; it's "judge". The rest of the statment has no special legal meaning and you will just get funny looks.

What are you hoping the judge would say ?

"You might have your client undergo psychitric assessment."

If he doesn't offer Remedy he is in dishonour? He doesn't want to offer Remedy so he leaves then comes back to regain honour.

    Make any sense?

Doesn't make any sense to me. Are you suggesting that there is a set of magic words that when uttered in court means you can get away with whatever you're charged with?

It would appear that you're skating close to Freeman territory with this, which would be inadvisable to pay any attention to. It's rubbish.

Close to Freeman territory? From the sounds of it he's living there.

Yeah Freeman area. I searched for it on this forum and they get locked straight away but this is fact a freeman got a judge arrested for not giving his oath. It was on the news then they went very quiet about it.

I'm not trying to get away with anything. But basically you claim common law they power to be only judged by the divine once you haven't broken common law.

Before this thread gets locked...THose Youtube videos are nonsense. The entire thing is nonsense.

You would do just as well to say "Your Honour, I am a moron" rather than "I am a Living Being". That's not to attack you personally by the way, rather that this statement would have a similar effect in court.

However, if you disagree with me then PLEASE do try the freeman route in Court. In fact I would love if anyone tried this stuff and came back to let us know how it actually went.

All it does is frustrate the court so that you will be convicted or fined in absentia. I'm sure that the matter on the videos resumed when your man had left and he was fined in his absence. That is not a victory for the freeman "philosophy".

It's equivalent to me claiming that I'm made of marshmallows. It's just plainly wrong.

How people still believe this Freeman ****e is beyond me. It's one step up from chewing your own face on the stupid scale.

Depends on what court you are talking about.

District court I'd say it's par for the course, along with "sorry Judge I was pissed", "there was no way that car could do 120" and "the voices told me that can of larger was sacred and I had to remove it from the shelf"

In the Supreme Court, I can see the reaction as "OKaaaaay"

It's ****e because you clearly didn't actually watch the video, the judge doesn't get arrested.

Is it possible to amend the charter to ban freeman discussions from this forum??? This stuff always makes everyone start tugging their hair at the stupidity of the people who advocate it.

That actually makes more sense than most freeman arguments.

It's important that you understand what this sentence means in a legal context. It has roughly the same meaning as the sentence in the spoiler below. If you try to make either of these arguments in Court the outcome will be, roughly, the same.
My Lord I am a sponge have no carrot, I deny limp ball sensual nutcracker and therefore I can only be judged by pingpong Steve scallywag paddywagon.

As in refuse to give your name?

If you were arrested and brought in by the gardai you will be remanded in custody until you give your real name. You could try bring an article 40 application like this guy:

    http://www.courts.ie/Judgments.nsf/09859e7a3f34669680256ef3004a27de/1310766fa1f4151d802578cc003bd596?OpenDocument

If it was a summons, then it makes no sense. If you appear in court to answer the summons then you accept that it is your name. When the registrar calls "Joe Bloggs" if you stand up and say "I'm not Joe Bloggs, I'm a Human Being" then the Judge will tell you to shut up and let Joe Bloggs deal with his own case, then probably convict in his absence.

What "Remedy" are you referring to?

Is it possible for me to leave this thread open? This is probably the funniest thread in Legal Discussion history.

    Probably better close it... damn.

The Charter covers these Freeman / Brehon and other lunatic approaches to going to court. Mods can close, delete, lock, etc.
