    Hi
My Italian girlfriend has recently completed a masters & undergrad in Biology in Italy and is able to get funding from the Italian government to do a PhD in another EU country if there is a 'project' available. We're looking into options here in Dublin. Would anyone have suggestions on where to go or who to speak to with regards to a) finding Biology related PhDs or b) suggesting PhD research to a Biology dept. I'm a bit lost on science-related postgrads.

    Any help/suggestions would be welcome!

    Cheers.

That's an extremely broad question! Can you be a little more specific on what it is she wants to do? For example, if she were interested in Neuroscience, I might suggest Trinity. For biotechnology, UCD or DCU might be the way to go. It really depends on what field she's interested in.
